Dr. Hailian Du graduated from Fujian Agriculture University with a Ph.D. degree major in plant molecular genetics in Sept. 2000. She joined NIDVD as an associate professor from June 2006. Prior to joining NIDVD, Hailian was a post-doctoral scholar of School of Chemistry, Xiamen University from 2000 to 2002, and an associate professor of state key laboratory of marine environmental science from 2003-2006. Her research interesting includes epidemic virus molecular genetics, ecology and proteins interactions.
